This war memorial is located on the place in front of the church in the center of Hégenheim. It commemorates the citizens of town who died during the two world wars of the 20th century.

The memorial is a statue of a mourning women in a traditional local costume, along with marble plates that contain the names of the victims. The monument is surrounded by fresh flowers.

The top of the left plate says: "The municipality of Hégenheim to its children, victims of the two great wars 1914 - 1918 / 1939 - 1945" (French original in the variable)
