Hartigové jsou ceský, pozdeji rakouský šlechtický rod puvodem ze Slezska. V Cechách se rod vyskytuje od 18. století.

Rod pochází ze Slezska, prímá linie pocíná od Martina Hartiga (kolem 1500 v Eichmannsdorfu - cca 1554), kupce ze Slezského Lvovku ve Vévodství svídnicko-javorském. Jeho syn Jakub Hartig (1534-1607) byl od roku 1561 obcanem Žitavy, kde byl obchodníkem a radním a církevním hodnostárem. Vnuk Martina, Jan Hartig (1573-1632), povoláním lékar Knížectví anhaltsko-srbištského a lehnicko-brežského, získal od císare Rudolfa II. pro svuj rod erbovní listinu.
