The history museum of Lausen is located in an annex building of the church in the northwest of town.
The millstone is mounted just next to the entrance of the museum. It is not a very large one, the diameter is only about one meter. There is no documentation about this specific stone, but there have been water mills in town, so it must be of local origin.
