The simple vertical sundial are able to measure both both daylight saving time (red semicircle) and standard time (green semicircle) as well. The sundial designed by Zdenek Karásek and Radmila Kubelková and painted by Eva Telecká can be found on a gable of the Gymnasium Hall of the Elementary school in Hradec Králové, Uprkova street.
