We do not know if Jennie lived 101 years or just 100 years, since her FindAGrave entry only gives the birth year of 1862 and death year of 1963. Her name can be a bit of a puzzle until you read the aforementioned FindAGrave entry and this MOGenWeb Rootsweb transcription of an old newspaper article; then you realize that she was born Mahala Jane Stainbrook, but was known by her nickname Jennie; married a Dr. Cyrus Sparkman first; then later married a Vandergrift. She is buried with neither of them.
