The FindAGrave entry for Mary Hankins Wear has nothing more than her birth date of 31 July 1898, and her death date of 23 March 2001. However, there is a bit more information in the MOGenWeb Rootsweb page, indicating that Muriel was the daughter of Samuel and Lillie Hankins. She graduated from Cassville high School, and attended Southwest Missouri State College and Lane Theological Seminary. At a church in Hannibal (Mark Twain area!) she was a director of Christian Education. Her husband, Maurice, died in 1951 after 32 years of marriage.
