This large, rotating, earth globe is found on the first floor of the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The well-designed globe teaches about land and water masses, the importance of the daily rotation (isn't that redundant [grin]), and the slight axis that provides seasons. There are descriptive panels around the globe as well as a touch-screen that helps explain the earth and space exploration.
The globe is available with regular museum admission. The museum is open 9 am to 5 pm daily except of Christmas (December 25th).
