During the industrial revolution Bradford developed as a major textile manufacturing centre. It grew so much that it became known as the wool capital of the world.
This warehouse is a late example of such a building, and compared to most warehouses in Bradford has a large glazed area that would have made the interior much lighter than earlier designs.
The right hand side of the building is a large arch way for delivery vehicles.
The textile trade has now declined in Bradford and this building like many others is now used as offices.
