Montgomery Bell State Park WPA Station 22-29-40 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Found a bad scratched disk stamped WPA Station 29 (difficult to read) on an old concrete post projecting 6-inch, approx. a yard west of un-identified tree, approx. 10 feet east of the edge of asphalt in Montgomery Bell State Park. This disk is approx. 375 feet north of the intersection (wye) of Jackson-Hill Road and an access to Lake Woodhaven (unknown name of road). Note: the name of agency should read "Tennessee Div. Of Geology". A topographic map in the internet shows it should be at WPA Station 22-29-40.

There is other old concrete post projecting 6-inch at that wye but the survey benchmark is missed. That station should be at WPA Station 22-29-39 (N 36.0854042, W 87.278172).
