The mausoleum appears to be constructed of granite and has a double metal door with grated glass windows. There are four pillars, two on each side of the door. The name Lewis is located on the eave above the doorway. Immediately above the doorway is the following text: "Grieve not, nor speak of me with tears, but laugh and talk of me as if I were beside you." There is a stained glass window depicting St. Jude on the mausoleum's back wall. Etched into the granite to the right of the doorway are the names of three family members, two of them deceased and one still living. On the exterior right side of the mausoleum is the following text: "Paul and Marie were a team. They achieved success far beyond their dreams."

The 80-acre Oaklawn Cemetery is one of the oldest and most well maintained cemeteries in Northeast Florida.
History:
The mausoleum is currently the final resting place for two members of the Lewis family: Marie Rizk Lewis and Paul Arthur Lewis. The name and birth date of their daughter Lynda Gale Lewis is also etched on the mausoleum, although she is still alive.
