The mausoleum appears to be constructed of granite and has a double metal door with grated glass windows. There are two pillars, one on each side of the door. The name McGehee is located above the doorway, and etched into the granite on either side of the name is a decorative wreath design. There is a stained glass window on the mausoleum's back wall.

The 80-acre Oaklawn Cemetery is one of the oldest and most well maintained cemeteries in Northeast Florida.
History:
The mausoleum is the final resting place for members of the McGehee family. There appear to be six vaults within the mausoleum; however, only one of the six vaults has an inscription on its face and it bears the names of two family members (which could not be made out because of glare from the door windows). So it appears that the mausoleum can accommodate up to 12 family members.

Visiting Hours/Restrictions:
The cemetery gates are open from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, 365 days a year.
