The FRIENDS MEETING HOUSE, 100 yds. from Hancock House, was erected in 1756; and addition dates from 1784.- New Jersey: A Guide To Its Present and Past, 1939, Tour 29, pg. 634

The friends meeting house known as the Alloways Creek Friends Meetinghouse or the Hancock's Bridge Friends Meetinghouse is a little further than 100 yards from the Hancock house. The Georgian style meetinghouse is still used occasionally. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.
