From the intersection with ORE126 about 14.4 miles W of Redmond, travel 3.0 miles N on Goodrich Road, which becomes Ruble Road. Park and continue cross country E along a barbed wire fence line for 0.5 miles to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on a steel pipe; rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 5' N of a barbed wire fence. Found two bearing trees, a ponderosa pine with a healed blaze and a western juniper with a scribed, open blaze. In addition there is wood lath lying about.


What property is this mark defining?:
Land S from the corner is private property; else Bureau of Land Management. The corner is shown as monument #8 on the Plat of Squaw Creek Canyon Recreational Estates First Addition, surveyed by George Cook Engineering Inc. and filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office as CS00061.
