From the intersection with ORE126, about 14.4 miles W of Redmond, travel 3.0 miles N on Goodrich Road, which becomes Ruble Road. The corner is at the right edge of the road.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on a steel pipe in a mound of stones; rising 5"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is about 10' E of the centerline of Ruble Road. Found four western junipers, all with scribed blazes. Two have yellow BEARING TREE tags, and another has a LOCATION POSTER. In addition there are several pieces of broken lath lying about and an orange Carsonite witness post with a LAND SURVEY MARKER decal next to the bearing tree which serves as a NW fence corner.


What property is this mark defining?:
Land SE from the corner is private property; else Bureau of Land Management. The corner is shown as MONUMENT #9 on the Plat of Squaw Creek Canyon Recreational Estates First Addition, surveyed by George Cook Engineering Inc. and filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office as CS00061.
