This sign near the entrance to the Flamingo Gardens Botanical Gardens and Wildlife Sanctuary reads:

Wray Botanical Collections &
Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary
Originally founded in 1927 as an orange grove by Floyd
L. and Jane Wray. Flamingo Gardens is one of the oldest
botanical gardens and attractions in South Florida.
Inside, the Wray Botanical Collection, features over 3000
species of rare & exotic, tropical, subtropical, and native
plants, including many of the largest trees in the state.
The Everglades Wildlife Sanctuary is residence to over
90 species of permanently injured or non-releasable
birds and animals, and is the largest collection of Florida
native wildlife. The historic Wray home is now a museum
providing a glimpse of Florida living in the 1930's."
