A simple Boer War Memorial featuring a broken column & water basin.

The memorial sits on the footpath diagonally opposite the World War One Memorial Clock Tower. The column is marble, the basin limestone & both sit on a base of sandstone. There is wording on the reverse of the column which appears to have been tapped into the marble although the normal inlay may have fallen off.
