Located in front of a residential home is a bronze plaque that reads:

F.K. DEUEL SR. HOUSE

RESIDENTIAL PRESERVATION AWARD, 2000

THE F.K. DUEUL SR. HOUSE WAS DESIGNED BY MEDFORD ARCHITECT FRANK CHAMBERLAIN CLARK AND WAS CONSTRUCTED IN 1909. THIS WESTERN SHINGLE AND SHINGLE STYLE WITH BRICK ACCENTS IS A FINE REPRESENTATION OF RESIDENTIAL ARCHITECTURAL OF THE ERA. THIS HOUSE WAS RECENTLY UPGRADED WITH EXTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS AND THE ADDITION OF A CARRIAGE HOUSE.

THE GROUNDS ARE PLANTED WITH INDIGENOUS SHRUBBERY AND ARE METICULOUSLY KEPT. THIS STRUCTURE IS AN ASSET TO THE SOUTH OAKDALE HISTORIC DISTRICT.

THIS AWARD REPRESENTS EXCELLENCE IN THE REHABILITATION OF AN HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT STRUCTURE.
