Just off the New England Highway, but difficult to access directly, is this Permanent Survey Marker 56433. It is just north of the Rabbit Proof Fence, which basically runs the border of NSW.

This bronze disc is set into a slab of concrete about 30cm across. The fence is about 1.2m (4 feet) tall, with a section of fencing 1.8m high, and gate here to allow traffic through to maintain the fence. Access from the North.
