WWII (Red Army vs Wermacht) - Oslavany, Czech Republic - Historic Reenactments on Waymarking.com

During the spring of 1945, Soviet Red Army liberated South Moravia from German occupation troops. There has been not only a great battle (visit link) , but also a smaller local skirmishes. One such clash was a fight for the liberation of the Oslavany chateau (visit link) .

The performance began the arrival of several trucks and cars with Wehrmacht (visit link) soldiers, followed the occupation of the chateau. Then followed the arrival of reconnaissance patrols of Red Army (visit link) , which followed a stronger troop, which pushed German troops from the chateau.

The reconstruction showed several dozens of performers with a personal armaments and equipments and also historical transport equipments.
