This abandoned building sits on the southeast corner of McClintock Dr. and McKellips Rd. in Scottsdale, Arizona. The building is located on the western edge of the land of the sovereign tribe of the Salt River Pima Maricopa Community. The building appears to be a type of wattle and daub with mud plastered between the uprights and cross beams to provide insulation from the desert heat. None of the wood members of the construction are cut or milled. They appear to be native woods used to provide support without extensive developing. To the front of the building are the remains of a fence constructed of the same, simple native trees and brush.
