View from the Look-Out Tower in Bornwald - Olten, SO, Switzerland - Cityscapes on Waymarking.com

The new wooden look-out tower in the Bornwald forest south of Olten opened in autumn 2014. It is only 9.5 meters high but the position is elevated, a smooth slope the Olten in the north and a high cliff to Aarburg in the south.

You can see the center of Olten with the covered bridge and the church steeples about one kilometer in the north, Aarburg is about two kilometers in the south, the view there is dominated by the large castle above the town center.
