The pub was established in 1886 & retains all the character of those bygone days. The public bar is decked out with paraphernalia from the history of the district with old saws, horse bits, rakes, bottles, even the remains of a pistol. The bar is of local timber & one of the tables in the bistro area is a massive river red gum burl.
We arrived too early for lunch but had a cold beverage on the cool verandah on a hot Autumn day.
