HISTORY OF SUSANVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The Susanville United Methodist Church has been serving the Honey Lake Valley since 1877. During the intervening years, we have been a welcoming center for people of all economic strata.
We continue to support those well founded in their faith, alongside those who are just beginning their faith journey. Our social activism has meant food, clothing and shelter for those in need both in Susanville and around the world.
Currently, we are sponsoring a local team who are being trained by the United Methodist Volunteers in Mission, (VIM) which is an organization that trains lay-persons to go into the mission field and serve those in need.
If you would like more information about our church, or about becoming a member, please call the church office at (530) 257-5893.
