The historic Pioneer Saloon Building has roots going back to 1862. The building is currently home to Lassen Ale Works. There is still much original elements of the former saloon. What the Lassen Ale Works website doesn't mention on its history page is that this saloon was also a cafe for many years and located next door to another historic cafe, The Grand Cafe. I spotted a vintage Coca-Cola sticker in the window of this building while touring the downtown area.
