The Catholic parish church of St. Martin is a listed church building in Schlossstraße 24 in Westerholt, a district of Herten.
The basilica was created from 1901 to 1903 by Aloys Kersting from Münster in late Romantic style.
Bishop Maximilian von Galen consecrated the church on 10/13/1903.

There are four clocks decorating each side of the bell tower of St. Martin church. The face of the clocks are of white colour, and the dial and hands are black.
