Charlie Denby, a local record shop owner is the subject of malicious calls to the police. Denby’s shop is popular with the young lads in the village and the calls are making suggestions about his interest in the boys. Meanwhile Claude Greengrass is doing gardening for Rene and Frances Kirkby. His new found interest in gardening seems to be connected to the antiques in the house. The couple ask Claude to sell the antiques for them, something he is keen to do.
