This rest area is staffed with someone who can answer questions and suggest brochures from the many that are available here. However, it is not open all the time, but only from 8:00 to 17:00, including Sundays when we visited it.
There are bathrooms, but no vending machines. However, when I asked for it, the staff were pleased to offer a cup of coffee for the road.
The rest area is easily accessible from either direction of travel.
