New Brunswick highway web cameras are operated by the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. The cameras are part of the Department’s Road Weather Information System. Most are mounted on tall steel towers, pretty much all of which have weather sensors included on the tower. The sensors measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and wind direction and speed. The province has right around 50 web cameras, covering all the major routes in the province.
The webcam pic below is more or less real time and will update every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on conditions.
On the south side of Highway 11, this vamera and tower are immediately east of the "Welcome to James Park" sign, less than a kilometre west of the centre of the little community of St. Margarets. The camera looks west down the highway toward Miramichi, which is just another 23 or 23 kilometres northwest on Highway 11.
