New Brunswick highway web cameras are operated by the New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. The cameras are part of the Department’s Road Weather Information System. Most are mounted on tall steel towers, pretty much all of which have weather sensors included on the tower. The sensors measure temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and wind direction and speed. The province has right around 50 web cameras, covering all the major routes in the province.
The webcam pic below is more or less real time and will update every 15 to 30 minutes, depending on conditions.
This is another webcam at an Esso Station, this one right in front looking north up Highway 11. The camera and Esso are on the east side of the highway at the Highway 450 turnoff, which heads east into Neguac.
