A busy public boat ramp giving direct access to the Pacific Ocean. Restrictions apply that forbid entry into the tug boat harbour & nearby coal jetties. GPS co-ordinates are given so there is no misunderstanding. Buoys mark the way.

Ample parking is provided. As with all boat ramps in tropical waters no fish cleaning is allowed on the foreshore or beside the ramp due to the presence of estaurine crocodiles. Also deadly box jellyfish are in the waters between November & April so watch where you step.
