Access points to the trail are indicated by black arrow heads with the Thames Path shown as red lines - one on each side of the river. Major points of interest along the trail have a photo and line pointing to the attraction's location.
Nearby major roads are shown and names with bus numbers that serve the road. Stations are indicated as yellow circles and the main parks are shown as green areas.
The "you are here" is in black text against an orange background. It looks as though the arrow, leading from the "you are here" text, pointed to a point on the other (west) side of Kew Bridge but a liberal use of Tippex has been used to shorten it to the right location.
