The above quote from the section of the Guide discussing Roaring River State Park. The fish hatchery continues operations mainly rearing rainbow trout. Is under the management of the Missouri Department of Conservation. It has a number buildings and fish raceways. It is fed by the the Roaring River spring which has an output averaging 20.4 million gallons per day. It is open from dawn until 10 PM year round. In the pond in front of the spring there are many very large rainbow trout.
