A Ponte da Boutaca foi edificada em 1862 sobre a Ribeira de Calvaria, nas imediações do Mosteiro da Batalha, fazendo parte da antiga Estrada Real que ligava Lisboa ao Porto.
Apresentando um modelo neo-gótico, a ponte é constituída por um tabuleiro rectilíneo, assente sobre seis arcos quebrados intercalados por contrafortes. A amurada da ponte é decorada por grilhagens e pináculos, colocados no topo dos contrafortes.
Nos extremos da edificação foram edificados quatro pavilhões de planta rectangular, que assentam sobre bases em talude e são rematados por ornamentos de cantaria, flores-de-lis e pináculos.
Em 1988 a ponte foi objecto de obras de restauro; as coberturas dos quatro pavilhões foram reparadas e alguns dos ornamentos em cantaria que haviam sido danificados foram repostos.

The Boutaca Bridge was built in 1862 over the Ribeira de Calvaria, near the Monastery of Batalha, part of the ancient Royal Road linking Lisbon to Porto.
Introducing a neo-Gothic style, the bridge is formed by a board straight, based on six arches interspersed with buttresses. The railing of the bridge is decorated with pinnacles, placed on top of the foothills.
Both ends of the building were built four rectangular pavilions to colect tools, which are founded on bases in slope and are adorned with ornamental stonework, fleurs-de-lis and pinnacles.
In 1988 the bridge was subject to restoration, the roof of the four pavilions were repaired and some of the ornaments in stone that were damaged were replaced.
