Linn Run State Park is an area of 612 acres in the midst of Forbes State Forest in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
This district is located along the banks of Linn Run contains thirteen buildings and three structures. There are ten contributing building, all rental cabins and three non-contributing buildings, two vault toilet facilities and a washhouse with a chairlift for disabled guests. The structures contributing to the district include two stone foot bridges and a automobile bridge consisting of stone I-beams.
The Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and the Works Progress Administration (WPA) jointly developed Linn Run State Park. The WPA built the cabins and other buildings and structures, while the CCC constructed roads, water and sewage facilities, and utilities.
