This museum started with one mans collection and grew to a small museum.


"National Military Heritage Museum

"Our complete military collection represents all five military branches spanning 150 years. Built in 1890 as St. Joseph's first police station, the museum houses military collections from the American Civil War to current military operations overseas. The National Military Heritage Museum is dedicated to the preservation of military heritage of the United States Armed Forces.

Hours: Monday- Friday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Admission: Adults- $3, Children 12 & under and students with ID- $2.00, Military- Free" (visit link)
