Out in the country away from the maddening crowd, this church is not a long way into the US.

As a matter of fact, the church is not 11 miles from being a Canadian Church. It stands on the west side of Highway 1 in Boundary County, about 10.7 miles south of the border and 15 miles from the Kootenay River at Bonners Ferry.

The church is non denominational and is likely attended primarily by farmers, judging from the surrounding countryside. It is not an old church, nor is it a new church. The style, construction method and materials suggest its age as being as great as 80 years, but likely not much more. It appears to have been doubled in size at some time, with an extension on the back.

It has a small bell tower at the front, over the entrance portico, and retains its bell, whether functional or not. The entrance has recently had a wheelchair ramp added.
