Karl Philipp Fürst zu Schwarzenberg (* 15. April 1771 in Wien; † 15. Oktober 1820 in Leipzig) war ein österreichischer Feldmarschall und Botschafter in Paris. Er war der Oberbefehlshaber der verbündeten Streitkräfte gegen Napoleon in der Völkerschlacht bei Leipzig 1813.

Schwarzenberg begann seine militärische Karriere mit 17 Jahren und nahm an mehreren Kriegen und Schlachten teil. Er starb im Alter von 49 Jahren. 1867 wurde dieses Denkmal enthüllt und die Inschrift lautet:
Dem siegreichen Heerführer der Verbündeten in den Kriegen von 1813 und 1814

Karl Philipp entered the Austrian cavalry at the age of 17 and fought in several wars and battles and died at the age of 49. In 1867 this memorial was unveiled and the inscription says:
The victorious commander of the allies in the wars of 1813 and 1814
