As described by the US Geological Survey in 1966 (although already monumented by the CGS back in 1933):

"2.4 MI SE FROM KINGSLAND.
KINGSLAND POST OFFICE. 2.3 MI. SE OF ALONG F.M. ROAD 1431. THENCE SW 0.1 MILE TO RAILROAD CROSSING. 290 FT. SE OF CENTER OF CROSSING, 42 FT. NW OF TRACK, 4 FT. SW. OF R. O. W. FENCE AND SET IN A LARGE GRANITE OUTCROP. A STANDARD DISK STAMPED K 119 1933."

The 1966 description and associated reference points (i.e. distances/directions) are still decent references for locating this station, although some clarifications might be in order to simplify future recovery attempts:
* Rather than attempting to go "2.3mi SE along FM 1431", just start in Kingsland and drive on FM 1431 until you reach Caldwell Blvd (County Road 127).
* Drive for another 300 ft and park your car on CR 127, then start walking along the southbound trail which parallels the railroad track.
* The station will be on your right, on a rock outcrop, about 270-300 ft from the trailhead.

The BM in question lies just behind a barbwire fence, but one can get within 2 feet of the BM and make a good recovery (see posted waymark's gallery images for BM close-up and setting details).

The station's associated NGS Data Sheet's currently posted coordinates are pretty much in line with my own observations: the NGS reports the station at "N 30 38 27.12 W 098 24 45.93" which was relatively close to my personal readings -- as measured within 10' accuracy and 20+ reading averages: "N 30° 38.452 W 098° 24.766".
