"Puvodne gotický dum stojí na samém konci Nerudovy ulice na rozhraní ulice Úvoz a Radnicních schodu; zprava vede rampa Pražského hradu (ulice Ke Hradu), vylámaná ve skále v 17. století. Dnešní barokní podoba domu je z let 1723–32, na prelomu 20. a 21. století byl nárocne adaptován pro potreby luxusního hotelu. Domovní znamení znázornuje boží oko."
