"The St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery is located a short distance from the interstate highway exit at Concordia, Missouri in east central Lafayette County, MO. This cemetery is the oldest and largest in the Concordia area. This area was heavily settled by Germans and that heritage can be seen on some of the tombstones here. Beyond the obviously German names, many tombstones also have dates and verses in German script.

"A monument at the cemetery marks this as the first location of St. Paul's Lutheran Church as a log structure built in 1844. This was replaced by a brick church building in 1860 which served until it was replaced by the current building several blocks south." ~ Hearthstone Legacy Publications
