These backcountry shelters are wonderful for campers who want protection from the elements and bugs. They can be found in several of the campgrounds on primitive Isle Royale. Each one is a nice sized three sided structure with a roof and wooden floor; a screen "wall" in the front has a door. Each shelter has pegs for hanging gear and clothing, and a broom is supplied for leaving it clean for the next camper.
