This does require bushwalking and navigation skills. GR 24384105, 1st ed. so in AusGeo66 datum.

A bushfire has been through since I first found it 1045, 3/8/1983, while on a Duke of Edinburgh hike. So the plastic pole is melted, and the metal vanes are lying beside it.

Last visited by GCookie 18/12/2013, but first visited on a Duke of Edinburgh training hike, 3rd or 4th April, 1983.

Nearby 'had been' the "Convict Capers" cache, GCMY61, and for the more adventurous, the very easy "In Extremis - (IX) - Great North Road", GC2HYMD. Worse luck, both now Archived.

This trig is also listed on the GCA website as TP4528.
