This mosaic circles an irrigation standpipe in the historic Maple Ash neighborhood of Tempe, Arizona. The houses and original residents are commemorated in images and text, which are laid out on a representational map of the neighborhood that includes streets and the railroad track. The concept was developed in conjunction with residents of the neighborhood by local artist Nina Solomon in 2011. Top and bottom of the installation are edged by river rock and there are two compass roses on the top.
