William P. "Bill" Kloster, affectionately known as "Mister Dr Pepper" inherited the Dublin Bottling Company from Grace Prim Lyon & operated it until his death September 27, 1999. The Dublin Bottling Company is the oldest Dr Pepper bottling plant in existence.
The life size bronze statue of Bill Kloster stands on a cement base in front of that bottling plant where he worked for 67 years going from bottle sorter at age 14 to owner.
The only information on the person who sculpted the statue is the signature "M Moore" on the base.
The statue shows Bill dressed in casual shirt sleeves and slacks handing a Dr Pepper to a young girl in pigtails seated on a Dr Pepper cooler.
