The vertical sundial are located just above a side entrance to St James' Church in Vysoký Újezd nad Dedinou (East Bohemia). St James Church belongs to the oldest churches in Bohemia. It was founded in 1150. It was a few times rebuilt. Its side entrance was added to the church in 18th century. Just at a gable above the side entrance one can find simple vertical sundial. It was a few times renovated, i.e. in 1972, 2006 and 2013.
