Memorial Hall, Oak St and the highway, houses a collection of artillery, machine guns, rifles and other relics of the various wars in which the United States has engaged.
 – Missouri: A Guide to the "Show-Me" State, 1941, Tour 10, pg. 506 .

I'm not sure what the building currently contains however is not likely that it continues to contain the above listed items as it has been renovated and now is used as an event center.
