Sirius is the name of a fountain that is located next to Hallenstadion in Zürich Oerlikon since 2012.
The fountain has a round basin with a large orange polyester sculpture in it. It was created by the artist Annemarie Fontana (1925-2002) and originally erected on Escher-Wyss-Platz. Due to a road extension it had to be removed from the original location in 2009, and was relocated to the place next to the stadium in Zürich Oerlikon, where it was erected in late 2012. The basin with a diameter of ten meters is much larger than the original one and fits better the concept of the artist.
