This library was established in 1895 and has been in this building since 1906. Prior to that, the library was located in the 4th street school and then for awhile in the upstairs portion of a local drug store. The current building is in the center of town and the Barge Canal passes right behind it. They have a huge selection of books, books on tape, research books, and historical data for the local history as well. They also have internet service available.
