The building is Grade II listed with the entry at the Historic England website telling us:
1866 by Edward l'Anson. Portland stone corner building in mannered classical style. 4 storeys plus battered basement. Front 7 windows; return 5 windows. Entrance at basement/ground floor level with pilasters and large brackets supporting balcony above. Broad pilasters to upper storeys with round-arched and balustraded 1st floor windows and 3 balconies to centre of 2nd floor. Modillion, crowning cornice. Plain rear of yellow brick and stone.
