This artesian well is old, as it is the attached device to extract the water from the underground - clearly from Arab influence. No doubts it was widely used in the past but then the town grew, embraced the well, mainswater was installed and the well stayed. Nowadays it's part of an interesting tiny park which includes also a model of a traditional chimney from the region.
